There is speculation that Google is merging the world model, diffusion, and omni-stuff into Gemini 4. It feels like they are moving away from the pure LLM + CoT/coding path toward something more native to reasoning about the world, directionally similar to Yann LeCun's v-JEPA rather than standard LLMs.
