World Labs' Atlas could speed up humanoid training via real2sim2real

A robotics-angle take on World Labs' new multimodal world model Atlas: before a humanoid enters a real workspace (factories, warehouses, construction), a small set of on-site recordings can reconstruct the scene in simulation and capture how objects move and interact. Once a task runs in sim, objects, poses, robot motion, lighting, and background can be varied to generate diverse training data and large-scale test environments — a real2sim2real pipeline.
This shortens the path from capture to training and lowers the cost of bringing new scenes into distribution. Limitation: contact force and tactile data still require the physical robot.
