Disable 1M Context to Save Claude Tokens: Practical Tip

A tip to make Claude tokens last longer: disable the 1M context window, especially noticeable when using Fable 5.1. You can configure this by adding the environment variable "CLAUDECODEDISABLE1MCONTEXT": "1" in /.claude/settings.. Additionally, keep Auto Compact enabled (default) or run /autocompact auto.
