CrowdStrike Launches Falcon Guardian to Disable Unauthorized AI Tools on Work Laptops

CrowdStrike unveiled Falcon Guardian at Fal.Con to address security risks from employees installing unauthorized AI tools. Leveraging existing Falcon software on endpoints, the new capability allows organizations to:
- View installed AI tools on Windows and Mac
- Identify who installed them
- Approve compliant tools
- Disable non-compliant tools remotely
This turns endpoint inventory into an enforcement layer for AI governance, preventing unauthorized access to corporate data.
