CrowdStrike launches Falcon Guardian to detect and block unauthorized AI agents

shashib · x · 2026-09-02

CrowdStrike announced Falcon Guardian at Fal.Con, enabling security teams to visualize and manage AI agents on endpoints. Leveraging the existing Falcon sensor, it records agent behavior chains (prompts, identity, tools, disk writes) and blocks unauthorized agents. Currently shipping features include inventory, activity logs, allow-lists, and containment. Future releases include an AI Gateway for policy enforcement on model calls and managed incident response services. CEO George Kurtz noted that AI accelerates attacks rather than changing their nature.
