MirroS Introduces Code-as-World: Representing the Physical World as Executable Code

le_james94 · x · 2026-09-02

MirroS introduces the Code-as-World paradigm, representing the physical world as executable code rather than just pixel observations. Through an agentic discovery loop, the system proposes hypotheses, simulates and renders them, compares results against observed evidence, and iteratively revises the code. This transforms world modeling into an active process of discovery and verification. The resulting executable worlds provide scalable physical supervision, achieving state-of-the-art performance in quantitative physical reasoning. Technical report, code, models, and the project page have been released.
