Arduino officially announces ArduinoCore-zephyr 0.90.0 is stable and out of beta, becoming its primary framework for advanced hardware while legacy mbedOS cores — now End of Life — enter deprecation. The release adds Nano RP2040 Connect support, native SD card support for Portenta H7 and C33, and PDM library support on Nano 33 BLE for audio sampling and edge AI voice processing. Automatic loader-and-sketch synchronization is now enabled across all supported boards, handling loader updates in the background during every upload.
