Running Minimax H3 locally on RTX 3060 to create webcomic trailer
kiwaygo · reddit · 2026-09-02
A user with low VRAM (RTX 3060 12GB + 16GB RAM) shared their practical experience generating video locally using Minimax H3. By setting up default ref2va and fl2va workflows in ComfyUI, they successfully edited and produced a trailer for their webcomic entirely locally on their own machine. Although higher resolution generation is slow due to hardware limitations, it proves the viability of running video generation on consumer-grade GPUs.
