LangChain fine-tunes Qwen for agent evals, cutting costs by 100x vs GPT-5.5
LangChain · x · 2026-09-02
LangChain generates billions of agent traces daily. Judging them with frontier models like GPT-5.5 is too costly, so they fine-tuned a Qwen base model on Fireworks that matches frontier performance at up to 100x lower cost. Fireworks Training API is now generally available.
