Anthropic Launches Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1 With Lower Prices and Stronger Privacy

Anthropic has introduced Claude Fable 5.1 and Claude Mythos 5.1. The two are the same model: Fable 5.1 is aimed at the general public, while Mythos 5.1 is exclusive to the trusted access program. The new models come with roughly 25% lower pricing (up to 45% savings on high-agentic workloads), introduce Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS) enabling zero data retention, and reduce the false positive rate of safety guardrails.
