Reviewer now rejects papers flagged 100% AI-generated by Pangram detector

Andrew Gelman and visualization researcher Jessica Hullman exchanged notes on AI-generated submissions. Hullman shared her new go-to response: when Pangram flags an abstract as 100% AI-generated, she declines the review request outright, since separating author claims from AI output isn't worth her time. Gelman quipped about how little "AI-generatedness" would still get a reply; Hullman said it just needs to not trigger her "this doesn't read human" detector. She added she used to be more lenient, but the problem keeps worsening and her time is limited.
