Anyscale Acquired by AI Cloud Nscale for $1.65B

Anyscale, the company behind the distributed computing framework Ray, is reportedly being acquired for $1.65B. Originating from Berkeley's RISELab, Ray became the framework the world uses for distributed computing and the platform frontier AI teams use to train, serve, and scale models. Anyscale had achieved 70% revenue growth quarter over quarter. Around 200 Anyscale employees are joining the acquirer, Nscale, an AI cloud that also announced $3B in funding for expansion today.
