Review: Anthropic Fable 5.1 Is Back as the Strongest Coding Model Yet

The review finds Fable 5.1 more powerful than its predecessor, capable of handling coding tasks that run for days, while being faster, more token-efficient (about half the cost of Opus 5), and more natural in conversation. In tests, it rebuilt a document editor from a single prompt and succeeded where other models failed on app development. Crucially, it adds a zero-data retention option, removing a major barrier for enterprise adoption.
