Physical Superintelligence (PSI) announced a $58M seed round led by Breakthrough to build the world's most advanced physics research lab. The company aims to use AI agents ('virtual physicists') to conduct autonomous research campaigns, engineer physical systems beyond human design, and discover new physical laws. PSI is a Public Benefit Corporation focused on safety, verification, and broad public benefit.
