He expects AI to handle any digital task and reach "Stockfish level" in software writing by the end of 2027, making human competition impossible. For humanoid robots, Musk described usefulness as a product of software, chips, and hand dexterity, predicting they could increase the economy tenfold or more through recursive self-manufacturing.
