Lovable announced integration with Fable 5.1 and published an article on its "model independence" philosophy. Arguing that manual model selection is a dead end, Lovable has built a team dedicated to studying each model's specific strengths (e.g., debugging vs. design) to implement automatic routing via customized prompts and toolchains. Evaluations show the new model significantly improves task speed and reduces turn counts.
