Stripe Launches Program for Agent-Based Commerce and Payments

Stripe is kicking off a program to help 20 top platforms and businesses (travel, ticketing, food, home services) start selling via AI agents immediately. The initiative addresses verified consumer/agent identity, fraud reduction, compliance, and sales control.
