Anthropic Restricts Mid-Conversation Model Switches, Losing Reasoning Context

Regarding the Fable 5.1 update, Anthropic has begun restricting mid-conversation model switches, which results in the loss of all previous reasoning context. Developer Mitsuhiko expressed disappointment, noting that the Fable team needs a day or two to figure out how to handle this; currently, the restriction only applies to new organizations.
