Open Air, Open Sea has launched the first 'AI Philosophy Competition' to test AI capabilities in philosophy.
Details:
- Submission: Entrants may submit up to three original essays. Essays must be primarily AI-generated (human guidance allowed) and accompanied by a methodology report.
- Judges: The committee includes prominent philosophers like David Chalmers, Herman Cappelen, Branden Fitelson, and Hilary Greaves.
- Prizes: $3,000 for 1st place, $2,000 for 2nd, and $1,000 for 3rd. An additional $5,000 pool rewards creative methodologies.
