World Labs unveils Atlas, first multimodal world model with pixel-perfect camera control
georgiagkioxari · x · 2026-09-02
World Labs has introduced Atlas, billed as the world's first multimodal world model: it generates image and video frames with pixel-perfect camera control and reconstructs them in 3D. Team member Ziqi Ma notes Atlas handles the hardest cases in camera-controlled generation — orbits, large rotations, getting close to objects without degenerating — while offering everything an omni AR model can, even producing a Pikachu on the canvas after a 180-degree turn. The team credits scale, applied with a lot of care, for the result.
