GitHub project Auto-Company (2.7k stars) runs a fully autonomous AI company 24/7: it orchestrates 14 autonomous agents modeled after world-class experts that ideate, decide, code, deploy, and market products without human intervention.
The mechanism is a loop: the AI team wakes up, reads shared consensus memory, decides what to do, forms a 3-5 person squad, executes, updates consensus memory, then sleeps briefly before repeating. Powered by Claude Code (default) and Codex CLI on macOS/Windows/WSL, with a daemon that auto-restarts on crash and a local dashboard.
