Singularity may have already happened elsewhere in the universe

A theoretical post suggests that in a sufficiently long-lived, homogeneous universe, singularities happen many times in many places. One can speak of a singularity formation density. If you notice you are experiencing a singularity, there is a chance you are inside the lightcone of another one that already happened nearby.
