Reducto launches r-1: A faster, cheaper, and more accurate document parsing model

Reducto has released r-1, a new document parsing model. Optimized for complex visual layouts, multi-page tables, and key formatting, it delivers a 20% lower error rate than their most accurate legacy agentic OCR models while being faster and up to 6x cheaper. The preview is available at $0.01 per page, with r-1 mini and an auto-mode coming soon.
