SoftBank-backed SB Energy has filed for an IPO, revealing a $439B backlog of contracted data-center capacity totaling 8.8GW. OpenAI is the primary customer driving this future revenue, extending its role beyond tenancy. OpenAI invested $500M, received warrants valued around $5.5B, and signed leases expected to provide a major share of SB Energy's near-term data-center revenue. Nvidia is also involved in the build-out.
