US Official details AI regulation stance: reserve rules for 'novel considerations', fund research

U.S. tech adviser Michael Kratsios told G20 officials that countries signing on to the "Carolina Principles" agree to "reserve new regulation for novel considerations." The framework also includes commitments to invest in "foundational research to accelerate discovery" and strengthen commercial opportunities for new technology.
