A Reddit user argues AI tool review integrity has collapsed: roundups take affiliate money, big review sites sell top-of-category placement, subreddits are half vendors, and even trusted voices mostly repeat what others posted. The internet's old strength — hearing from people who actually used the software — is gone for this category and won't come back on its own.
So they built TrustRank (trustrank.so): votes from people who wrote real reviews count more than drive-by clicks, and reviewed companies can argue back but cannot delete you. The site is nearly empty — which is either an honest starting point or proof nobody wants this, and the author genuinely can't tell yet.
