Scammer used Google AI summaries to impersonate NFL player

A scammer tricked Google's AI summaries into identifying him as a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, defrauding women of $1.3 million. When victims doubted him, he pointed to the AI-generated summary at the top of search results as proof. The unverified AI content served as a critical trust anchor for the scam.
