Pollen Robotics Launches $399 Open-Source Bipedal Robot Microduck

Pollen Robotics, in collaboration with Hugging Face, has released Microduck, a 25cm open-source bipedal robot priced at $399. It emphasizes reinforcement learning and a Sim2Real pipeline, allowing users to train behaviors in simulation and deploy them directly to the physical robot. Pre-installed capabilities include walking, sitting, kicking, object grabbing, roller skating, and autonomous recovery from falls.
