Shruti_0810 · x · 2026-09-01
Obscura is an open-source headless browser built in Rust, specifically designed for AI agents and web scraping. It eliminates the dependency on Chromium, using only around 30MB of RAM with a 70MB binary size and loading pages in approximately 85ms. It supports native rendering, V8, and the Chrome DevTools Protocol, serving as a drop-in replacement for Puppeteer and Playwright. It also features built-in anti-detection capabilities and fingerprint randomization for privacy.
