Anthropic is facing a class-action lawsuit alleging that its "Max 20x" Claude plan is misleading. Subscriber Karl Kahn claims the $200/month plan, marketed as offering 20x the usage of the base Pro plan, actually delivers only 6-8x weekly usage. The "20x" multiplier allegedly applies only to a 5-hour window. Furthermore, the "Save 50%" badge is contested, as calculations suggest the hourly cost can be higher than lower-tier plans. The suit seeks to represent all buyers since April 2025; Anthropic has not yet publicly responded.
