Anthropic commits $80B to cloud capacity in a single month

Anthropic has signed a $35 billion cloud deal with Nvidia-backed Lambda, with Nvidia holding the lease on the Texas data center. Earlier in August, it reportedly signed another $45 billion capacity deal with Nvidia-backed Nscale. This amounts to $80 billion in reported cloud commitments in a single month, signaling aggressive investment in computing infrastructure.
