Dev builds FinBridge MCP: 33 tools for Korean + US market data in agent workflows
JakeChj · reddit · 2026-09-01
Getting Korean market data into LLM workflows is oddly hard — major APIs either skip Korea or charge enterprise tiers (one provider gates 005930.KS behind $149/mo). The author built FinBridge:
- A single remote MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP, OAuth or API key) exposing 33 tools: fundamentals and filings from DART (Korea's EDGAR) and EDGAR itself, adjusted daily prices, indicators, valuation, insider trades, 13F, portfolio backtests, plus five server-side momentum/growth screeners over every KR listing
- Listed in the official MCP registry (kr.gronox/finbridge) and on Smithery
- Free tier: 100 calls/day, no card required; landing page runs a live screener demo without signup
- Data policy: only licensing-clean redistributable sources (DART, KRX, SEC, FRED); US price feeds deliberately absent
