Elastic Triangle Splatting improves kernel design for reconstruction
zhenjun_zhao · x · 2026-09-01
Addressing inconsistent kernel choices in triangle splatting, this work introduces an elastic kernel with bilateral gradient support and adaptive boundary values. It outperforms existing kernels on both shape reconstruction and novel-view synthesis benchmarks, highlighting the importance of kernel design in triangle splatting.
