A 20-year lawyer developed Fact Extract, a local RAG and desktop document review system, built mostly with Claude.
Core Components:
- Prep: Flattens folder trees into PDFs, converting emails, spreadsheets, and videos with OCR support.
- Desktop: Imports PDFs for chunking/structure tracking, enabling keyword/semantic search, notes, and exports.
- MCP Server: Connects to Claude Desktop/OpenWork, allowing LLMs to search the DB, view PDF images, save findings, and output hyperlinked citations.
