Anthropic signs $35B cloud deal with NVIDIA-backed Lambda for compute clusters

Anthropic has signed a $35B cloud deal with NVIDIA-backed Lambda, according to WSJ. NVIDIA will supply chips and lease a 700MW Texas data-center campus, while Lambda provides the compute. Hut 8 had previously disclosed 15-year leases for the campus valued at $20B. Anthropic also signed a separate $45B deal with Nscale earlier this month.
