mlx-signal-processing is released for accelerated signal processing on Apple Silicon, utilizing custom Metal kernels. It achieves 10x to 200x speedups over scipy.signal and significantly outperforms torchaudio with MPS backend. The API is compatible with scipy.signal, accepting NumPy or MLX arrays and returning MLX arrays.
