Manus has formally resumed independent operations, with the founding team (Yichao Ji, Hide Cloud, Shunyu Yao et al.) continuing to lead the company as an independent agent lab pushing the boundaries of general AI agents.
Next steps include Manus becoming more deeply embedded in everyday workflows, interacting more directly with the world, and acting more proactively on users' behalf. The company thanked users who backed up and restored data during the recent transition; affected users can still restore via the portal with no deadline.
