Berlin Artist Creates Shirt to Evade AI Surveillance

iamaliveix · x · 2026-09-01

A Berlin artist designed a T-shirt that makes the wearer invisible to AI surveillance cameras. To humans, it looks like a loud Hawaiian shirt; however, to AI detection systems like YOLO, the pattern breaks the human body outline so completely that the model fails to register a person. The artist created it by testing patterns against YOLO until the AI stopped detecting a human. It sells for $75. This is the same person who tricked Google Maps into showing a fake traffic jam in 2020.
