MIT Prof Demo: Agents Solve Engineering End-to-End and Manufacture Objects
ProfBuehlerMIT · x · 2026-09-01
MIT Professor Markus Buehler demonstrated an experiment where a team of agents solved a complex engineering problem end-to-end. Starting from design images, they inferred structural principles, synthesized an interactive physics simulator, ran experiments, optimized designs, and finally manufactured the best physical objects. The workflow included coordination by a Chief of Staff agent and allowed communication via Apple Watch.
