Signal65 Launches PINNACLE: AI Leaderboards Are Lying to Buyers
ryanshrout · x · 2026-09-01
Analyst firm Signal65 launched PINNACLE, a new benchmark arguing that existing AI leaderboards mislead enterprise buyers.
The core thesis: enterprises don't buy tokens — they buy correctly completed work on their own data, at a defensible price. The question was never which model is smartest, but which one finishes the job and what it costs to get there. PINNACLE targets agentic AI, measuring the real cost and effort of reaching correct, completed outcomes rather than raw token throughput or leaderboard scores.
