OpenClaw 2.0 is out, the largest update in its history, built by 933 contributors (including 569 first-timers) with over 16,000 pull requests. The update touches installation, messaging, memory, skills, models, automations, browser and native apps, plugins, security, and more. Installation is simplified and the browser app is now a first-class experience. The team took nearly two months to ship, reworking the foundation and process. User Michael Gannotti praised the smooth install and responsiveness, and retracted his earlier transparency criticism.
