Researcher vibe-codes a daily AI-safety paper & policy digest site as arXiv drowns him
StephenLCasper · x · 2026-09-01
AI safety researcher Stephen Casper used to skim 50-70 new CS arXiv titles daily in grad school; today there are 300+ plus constant policy and lawsuit news. He vibe-coded a public site, "What Is Cas Reading?", that auto-compiles a personalized daily digest of papers, articles, bills, lawsuits and policy updates on AI safety, governance and risk, updated every morning. The site warns it's AI-compiled and not human-reviewed — descriptions may contain errors or hallucinations.
