Jon Barron: interactive 30–120fps video generation at reasonable cost isn't coming soon

Google's Jon Barron poured cold water on the idea: even with MiniMax H3, fal's faster-than-real-time H3 Max, and works like LagerNVS, he doesn't think interactive pixel generation at 30–120fps will be achievable at a reasonable cost anytime soon. His core point: models can be made faster by being more expensive, and any model can be made faster by sacrificing quality—the quality/speed/cost gap can be shifted around, but it persists.
