CShorten30 · x · 2026-09-01
At the VLDB NOVAS workshop, Snowflake's AvalancheBench showed that Coding Agents perform better with access to AI Functions. Additionally, AI operator optimizations like Filter, Classify, and Semantic Joins are largely powered by Embeddings. The author remains bullish on Weaviate's Named Vectors and Late Interaction for search.
