janusch_patas · x · 2026-08-31
LichtFeld Studio is an end-to-end, open-source 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) tool designed to train, edit, and render photorealistic 3D scenes from photos or video locally on GPU.
Key Features:
- Native Training: Built on a C++23 and CUDA core with save-and-resume capabilities integrated into the desktop workflow.
- In-Context Editing: Includes tools like brush, lasso, polygon, crop, align, and compose to edit splats directly against a live scene.
- Automation: Supports Python plugins and MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoints for building custom panels, batch tools, and external workflows.
The project is licensed under GPLv3, supports Windows and Linux, and is currently at version v0.5.3.
