dhh announced two new Founding Patrons for the Omacom Foundation: Coinbase cofounder and CEO Brian Armstrong and Chinese games entrepreneur Yunjie Dai (founder of TapTap), each contributing $1 million and bringing the foundation's treasury to $12 million.
Armstrong built Coinbase on Ruby on Rails; dhh says his involvement will make Omarchy a great place for crypto. Dai recalled watching dhh's famous 2005 Rails blog-building video right after graduating, which set him on his entrepreneurial path.
