Google WikiSkill: Compiling Agent Experience into Persistent Knowledge
dair_ai · x · 2026-08-31
Google's WikiSkill framework addresses skill reusability and evolution in agents. Its core mechanism separates raw execution experience, accumulated knowledge (in a Wiki shape), and executable skills into three distinct layers. Research shows that persistent knowledge accumulation is key to skill evolution, and these skills are capable of cross-model transfer. Smaller models equipped with evolved skills can outperform larger ones without them, demonstrating that skill evolution complements scaling.
