Dots3-Note Open Sources: TEMPO Mechanism Enables Self-Correction
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-08-31
Rednote's Dots Studio has open-sourced Dots3-Note Preview, a 280B total parameter (16B active), 512K context multimodal model that achieved a perfect gold score at the International Math Olympiad. Its core innovation, TEMPO, allows the model to switch roles mid-task, acting as its own "critic" to reason about progress and estimate proximity to the goal, rather than relying on post-hoc scoring. Weights are open and available for free trial.
