Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) announced a quarterly reshuffle adding 10 companies to its Tech 100 Index, including autonomous-driving firms Pony AI and WeRide. Other additions include AI drug-discovery specialist Insilico Medicine and enterprise AI company Beijing Haizhi Technology. The revision is designed to help the index recover from an underwhelming first half by tapping into a new generation of Chinese AI firms. Meanwhile, 14 constituents, including Alibaba Health, JD Health, Bilibili, and NetEase Cloud Music, will be removed. Changes take effect on September 14.
