智东西 · wechat · 2026-08-31
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released its first national policy focusing on "AI Application Service Providers." The action plan outlines four key tasks: establishing a resource pool, enhancing service capabilities, promoting scalable applications, and strengthening support. Quantitative goals include over 2,000 providers by the end of 2026 and no fewer than 3,000 by 2027. Measures include packaging standardized solutions, deploying on-site FDE teams, and using "computing vouchers" to reduce costs.
